Cutcliffe Whines Harder than Krazooski

Can't wait to see if the ACC stands behind this call.....LMMFAO.

They absolutely will. They will say no video evidence to call the runners knee down and that flag on block in the back was picked up after the referees discussed it, not after video.

What would be even better would be if they fine Cut for whining in his PC.

No Duke fan but if the ACC officials could do this to Duke they can do this to anyone. It begs the question what good is replay with all the technology at their disposal if you have a bunch of brain dead people making decisions. I suspect the comments coming from Fedora and UNC fans would be quite similar if the shoe was on the other foot.

You just need to spend more time worrying about your coach throwing a punch at a Clemson player and spend less time wondering what Carolina fans may or may not have been saying in some hypothetical situation you just dreamed up.

Here- let me help you: You mouthbreathers would want an attempted murder charge brought against the coach if he were from UNC and swinging at a Clemson player.

Think I'm exaggerating? Go read your threads about the hazing incident last year or the fraternity fight this year.

You people are a joke.

Ok. What does that have to do with the ACC officials making a horrible decision against Duke?

Ok. What does that have to do with the ACC officials making a horrible decision against Duke?

Go ask your idiotic fan base how the horrible officiating in the dook-miami game proves that there is 1) a pro UNC officiating conspiracy 2) validates all of their anti-state officiating conspiracy theories.

Because, according to crack ride, last night proved both.

We have different definitions of "horrible". Mine is objective, whereas yours is completely based on what is the most detrimental to Carolina.

You wouldn't be calling this a "horrible decision" if the team affected was UNC instead of Dook.

First of all I am not trying to imply anything. Second, and I tried to be clear, if this had happened to UNC State ECU or Garner high school the coaches and the fan bases would have every right to be PO'D. We are not talking about a missed holding or judgement call but an entire crew who met for 10 minutes and got it wrong on a game deciding play.

He wasn't whining about the horrible PI calls that allowed Duke to score. Also, did the Duke QB even score cross the line for the TD. Looks, ACC officiating is horrific. They blew calls all night and all year. The correct team won last night as Duke was gifted a TD and Miami was gifted one right back.

As for the moronic State fans claiming the ACC wanted Miami to win to benefit, they are stupidest people on the planet. I guess they should explain the Ryan Switzer punt and the 4th down measurement at GT. Also, maybe they should concentrate on their team as all their fans left at halftime and announcers called them out on national tv. They are the worse people on the planet.

Back to Cutcliffe, I think UNC is screwed next weekend as the calls will be pro Duke just like 2 years ago. John Swofford is a joke and should resign.

we all know state and dook fans flock together in opinion against Carolina so par for the course. Karma just caught up to dook and she is a beeeeotch.

The officiating is getting to be embarrassing. They embarrassed themselves much worse on dook's previous scoring drive.

However, I still haven't seen anything absolutely clear that made the end-game KO return anything other than a TD. Considering dook's last drive was riddled with one sh*tty call after another, it was their own come-uppance to have that TD scored, in that fashion, in their stadium, that will be held as one of the most memorable plays in the history of college football. I'm glad dook was on the losing end of it. I'm glad Cutcliffe was perturbed and forced to be humiliated in that PC. I don't like Cutcliffe very much. I wanted dook to have the same record as UNC when we played next week, but after watching that game, it was fitting that they lose.

Seahawk again we are talking about a booth review and meeting at the end of the game by the entire crew. I have no doubt there were some bad calls for Duke during the course of the game. If this happened to UNC it would concern me as well.

It could have only been better if the dook band had been already on the field.

Why don't you show me a video that proves conclusively that his knee was down?

If possible, ACC refs will make it up to Dook against us. We'll get bad calls so they can prove they are not biased against Dook football.

So are saying that it was not?
If his knee was down, he did NOT have full possession of the ball. If it had been a play where he was being tackled and ruled a fumbled, it would have BEEN a fumble. His knee was down, but he didn't have possession of the ball. The same standard applies. That is why it wasn't ruled that he was down at the moment by the ref, who was right there.

ETA:

If you want to complain about legitimate, biased officiating, where the calls were blatantly biased and questionable; the previous offensive series by dook is riddled with horrible judgement calls. They overturned and interception that was BS. Then, there was a pass interference call on Miami for a pass that Yoda couldn't catch.

I only got to see a reply of the kick return. If the game was officiated as bad that play, it needs to be addressed pronto. This just gives them the motivation to come out really fired up next week.

There were way worse calls on Dooks go ahead drive that lead to the kickoff.

Well the ACC must know that they have a problem per ESPN. As I said, I have no doubt that Miami got many bad calls too.

But, you only seem to be motivated to comment on the last play. That play, as has been pounded into the ground here, was far less questionable.

Cutcliffe didn't feel compelled to say, in is PC, "Well, we were the beneficiaries of some really suspect calls. That allowed us to score and made the need for a dramatic final play possible." Or, "Were it not for the refs keeping us in the game, Miami would have won anyway."

Here is the photo that dook is using to claim the kid was down. His knee IS down, but he is in the process of a lateral. He's not in possession (full possession) of the ball. It's a still photo. It's not going to reveal the MOTION that is taking place! It's a live ball

Please post video showing conclusively his knee was down. If not, the ruling on the field stands.

Certainly looks like he has control of the ball in that picture. The ACC has acknowledged the refs blew the call.

Also, there was the block in the back that never should have been waived (I'll post video if I can find it) and the Miami player who ran on the field from the sidelines without his helmet on. All told there were at least three reasons that shouldn't have been a touchdown.........

.......which makes it that much more hilarious.

He doesn't have possession of the ball there. he is lateraling the ball in that photo. It's a still photo. He was not down and it is a live ball.

Officials pick up flags and say "There was no foul on the play" all the time.

The kid on the field was a dead ball infraction. It wouldn't affect the score at all.

That's a picture, not video. Refs only have video to look at

Live ball, all the way. If a dook player had recovered the lateral here, would they have called #1 as being down? Hell no! For good reason.. he's not down! He's lateraling the ball.

Miami player running on field with helmet is a dead ball foul. Has no impact on the play

Basically all this comes down to is arguing about a block in the back call.

I will see your block in the back and raise you 3 phantom PIs

That's inconclusive to me, especially given the zebra standing about 8' away looking dead at the player.

I don't understand the controversy there at all. He was clearly in the process of lateraling the ball. If a dook player had recovered, it wouldn't have been ruled down. He's not down. He's not in possession of the ball. It's about as obvious as it gets.

To me, that final play was handled perfectly. They got it exactly right in the end.

Well I could argue with but I will most likely get banned. Have a good day and good luck against Duke.

Now, THAT, I had not seen before! I thought the block controversy was on the block way down the field as Elder was headed to the end zone. That is a block in the back. I'll concede that's a foul.
That's not the block in the back penalty that got waived off, for the record. The one shown above was missed entirely.
