Why compare Larry to PJ?
Monken has his own record to run on (62-42, 8 seasons).
38-16 at Georgia Southern (4 seasons), and 24-26 at Army (includes 18 losses his first two seasons).
BTW he has been recruiting our footprint since 1997 at Georgia Southern, Navy, Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern again and now West Point.

Jeff Monken is literally the dumbest suggestion you could make. That would be a massive step backwards. Just stop. Nobody here is interested in triple option football, so either stop beating this dead horse or move on to another board. This has gotten completely silly.

Playing winning football is not silly and I surely would like to see it played for a change at Carolina.

Georgia Tech decided to become a consistent winner instead of trying to be a flash in the pan success.
They have been able to take student-athletes that fit their academic and athletic purposes and be successful over a long period of time. The uniqueness of their offense also plays well to the media (this should not be discounted).
That pattern delivers 8-9 wins per year and satisfies the PTB on the academic side, and will work for the long term rather than having to start over every 4-7 years.
