We offered him in April of 2023. In early 2024 he announced he was cutting his list to 8 and UNC made the cut. This April he announced he was completely reopening his recruitment. Today he announced he has once again cut his list, only this time UNC got the boot.

I think it’s safe to say we will not be landing any 5 star guys from the class of 25…
Basically what we're having to do with every 5 star in this class we offered early.
You have to laugh. “The sky is falling, the sky is falling!”
I mean, outside of last 2 classes, recruiting hasn't been great UNC (good, not great classes). So forgive some for being pessimistic.
Find me a single recruiting analyst that will tell you that UNC is likely to land any of the 5 star players in the class of 2025 that we offered early. Go ahead.
Isiah Harwell and Darryn Peterson already cut UNC. Jasper Johnson, Cameron Boozer, Caleb Wilson, Koa Peat, AJ Dybantsa... all highly unlikely to end up at UNC.
David has reported multiple times for a while UNC had stopped contact with him. It pays to be on premium.
