Davis Love 3 will be 2016 Ryder Cup captain

have to say I am really surprised at this. I love DL3, just a great guy and a Tar Heel to boot .But man he DID captain the team that collapsed at Medinah. I was there an it was one of the the most deflating experiences I have ever had in sports.

Hope he can get it done next year .I will be there as well and want an AMERICAN WIN this time.

I agree with Key on this one. DL3 has never had much of a killer instinct.

Maybe he will use Azingers pod system though. That seems like our best shot.

we're dry with inspiration i guess...tiger and phil hopefully won't be there to weigh us down with the concrete expectation balloon.

this is another sign that the pga is too hung up on certain things.
