Ian Jackson is a horrendous defender at this stage of his career.
We are playing like hot garbage but it’s completely random what these officials will call. Like they’ve never called a game before and are making up rules as they go
Even Gary will have a hard time putting a positive spin on his first half. That said, he still might be our best 1-2 players this game so far.
So frustrating 😡
Have to play the second half in four min increments and win each of those
It could absolutely work. UNC just needs to run Dayton’s half court offense, lol.
Also no offense in the history of UNC basketball is going to work when their PG1 commits 6 first half turnovers.
There aren't any good stats but this might be the worst one: Dayton took 15 more shots than we did.

I’m more waiting for blaming the refs in some capacity that Cadeau had 6 first half turnovers.
Half kidding aside, I do want Cadeau hunting for his offense. He got to the FT line 6 times. He needs to look to score when shit hits the fan.

It is either coaching malpractice or there is no money at UNC as the explanation as to this lineup of "bigs"
Refs are on to EC's left arm clear out and have called him on it twice. He has to keep taking it to the hole but can't clear out with the off hand

I don’t k ow about that. They have zero fgs (all 4 bigs) and way more turnovers than points. And can’t sniff an offensive rebound either. Our front court flat out SUCKS , at least tonight. So freaking soft and dumb
Well, as Auburn just proved, there 2 halves in basketball games so let's hope our team shows up in the second half.

You want a big to be active you give him touches early. That's been basketball for a 100 years.
Hard to run really good 5 out offense without being able to trigger any offense through your 4 or 5. Dayton ran their offense through their backup 5 in the first half and it looked good.
Granted UNC is a bad defensive team but still, lol.
This team obviously will need to find an identity other than “we want to run.” They need some physical or toughness element to their identity.
That's cause we have no movement in the offense.
Who do you see setting off ball picks?
This offense sucks.
