Gotta agree it's time to start Powell. Kid absolutely smothers his man on the defensive end on several posessions every game.

I said it earlier in this thread of Trimble was 6'5" or 6'6" he would be considered the best player in the country.
If we’re talking about Powell starting vs Withers how is this even an argument? Meaning I 💯 agree with you. powell is clearly light years better than Withers in every aspect of the game especially defense, shooting, passing, quickness, basketball intelligence
Gary will count them up and let you know.. he will say At least 90% of them weren’t really turnovers or were another players fault. Or were bad offensive foul calls. Just wait and see
its not like those guys were undefeated before they saw us cause they suck. they're pretty dang good
Guys started playing much smarter like Elliott with four fouls he was smart when he came back. Hubert was smart by “resting”withers
I mean I’m not sure if there necessarily is a place for him in the nba but he seems so athletic and hustles and plays so hard he should be able to make a living in some pro sport somewhere
I think those environments are tough to play in - probably harder than the big arenas the Heels are used to. A helter skelter rabid crowd for Dayton - a totally messed up court with a thousand different lines and logos on it - a high school size gym with the crazy crowd right on you

Correct if I’m wrong but didn’t we have 12 turnovers at the half? Ended up with 15 hmmmm
we beat a 20 win team from last year. was it awful yup. did we win? also yup. get to find out tomorrow
The thing about Dayton wasn’t the fact they had won 20 games whenever or undefeated this year it was that they were an experienced team with a lot of upperclassman which is unique in today’s game. Also to give credit their coach grant is a good coach who always seems to have his team ready to play. Knew it would be a rock fight til the end just didn’t think we would be down by 21 before picked up our rocks.
