Most of the recruiting talk lately has been about DB's. Prentice McKinney commits today and we have been pursuing Arrington Farrar , Damon Arnette , Dexter Carter Jr. (supposed leader) , Rashard Causey and Keith Washington. Anybody know how many we are looking to take? I think we need some DL beef and not hearing much on that front.

Ther aren't many top DTs left uncommitted, and most of them have never shown interest in us. That is the reason I hope that former Nebraska DC Papuchis is headed to Chapel Hill and has a DT connection that he and Chizik can reel in.

Along those lines, Clemson is overloaded in DTs in the 2015 class. The Tigers have 4 DT commits. That's makes less sense than taking 4 OTs in a class. Many OTs can easily move to OG or C. Few DTs can move to DE or to the OL

The Clemson DT commits are:

Christian Wilkins, whom we recruited hard a long time. He is the top DT in the northeast, and almost everybody will rate him among the 6 or 7 best in the country.

Albert Huggins, #1 DT in SC and among the top 5 or 6 in the southeast.

Sterling Johnson, whom we recruite early on. Johnson is the 2nd or 3rd rated DT in NC and among the top 12 or 15 in the southeast.

Gage Cervenka, who is the #2 or 3 DT in SC and among the top 15-18 in the southeast.

All of those guys have the potential to start at least 2 years on good teams, and if they all stay at Clemson for their entire careers, at least 2 of them will be lucky to start 1 year. Clemson has solid DT returning from the 2014 team, and Clemson will sign more top DT talent in the classes of 2016 and 2017.

Forgot to add Chris Williamson another DB target. Doesn't Sterling Johnson's mother work at UNC and didn't Fedora sour on him for some reason?
