Guys, I am done with them. I hate arguing with them every 3 months when they raise my rate and I think I have paid more on leases for my equipment than I have my car payments.

Now the big question, without Cable or Satellite what options do I have to watch the Tar Heels and Panthers play. This is the only reason I didn't ditch them years ago.

We need a Netflix for live sports.

HELP!!!!!

I've been DirecTV-free for 2+ years now and watch Heels and Panthers games on WatchESPN (most) or over-the-air broadcasts.

Look for the various Cutting the Cord threads for more detail than you could possibly want.

The short version:

HD Antenna = watch sports on your local ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox affiliates. Most Panthers games are on these channels.

Sling TV / Playstation Vue / Apple TV / etc. = watch sports on the ESPN and Fox Sports family of networks. The ESPN suite of channels includes ESPN3 and the ACC Network, which will give you access to every UNC basketball game. Sometimes the ACC Network is blacked out, but in those cases it means the game is on one of the local channels that you can pick up with the HD antenna.

I mostly watch sports and financial news so cutting the cord does not work well for that.

Yes it does. Playstation Vue. You'll get every sports channel and financial channel there is.

I'm only on the third tier of 5 or 6, and I get all of the following sports networks:

ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, FS1, FS2, Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Southeast, BeIn Sports, NBC Sports Network, Big Ten Network, NFL Network, MLB Network, NHL Network (can't sweat to that one). I don't watch financial channels but I know some are on my tier and all of them are on a tier or two up.

I pay $34.99 a month.

Why would @Louigi need to cut the cord anyway? He rich.
@Louigi trying to pick up women.

Don't you have to pay for watch espn and fox sports go if you don't have a cable subscription to watch it with?

Yeah, I was thinking of adding satellite to go with my cable so could have both. The anti cord cutter.
