I'm actually on the fence over whether we need another starter-quality player to get into the tournament. I think this squad can probably make it. But I'd like to add some insurance.

At the moment our weakest spot looks like SF. We have some good players who may do a great job for us there, but there are also question marks. A proven starter there would go a long way toward setting us up for a good tournament experience.

After SF - and possibly even more important - is in the post. We all have huge hopes for Veesaar. But we have not room for error there. I'd love us to add a starter-quality center who might not ever start, but could pick up starter minutes playing with and behind Veesaar.

And my third choice would be a backup PG. We may have all we need but, again, there are question marks.

So far We’re taller but certainly not better than last year but we lost several games late based on being small and not securing rebounds

Lubin can help my confidence on the depth thing

A nice signing on swing slasher we have been searching for will lock it down

As of today on a 32 game season 18-14
Lubin 20-12
Spot filled with 15pt scorer 23-9

It’s so early that it’s hard to even try to project IMO.

If this is what the roster will be the big questions include can Seth Trimble be potentially a #2 option on a good team? I don’t think he’s capable of that. Which means Evans becomes a critical player. He and Veesaar need to be legitimate top options then.

And this is assuming Powell and Wilson aren’t big time scorers.

Bench players are going to be inconsistent by nature. Especially UNC bench players under Hubert. So my concern more lies with the starters than bench.

UNC is a lot better than I think they are if their bench is the question mark.

You must be really "board" .. nobody has a clue as to who UNC will even have on the roster to start the 25 season yet. My original thought is after the first 10 games UNC might still be a top 30 team. PG and wing are still iffy. jmo
