It is embarrassing enough that for some reason someone in Chapel Hill decided to lower the program into playing 2 non power 5 schools on the road. But they won both games against Sun Belt frontrunner. Well actually won one, as AppSt gifted a victory. But maybe UNC can claim the SB championship and get a trophy. Thay would be about the only trophy this team will win. And I think maybe Mack has entered a delusional state. After the game, waxing poetic about how long it has been, and how great it was, for UNC to be 3-0. And how impressive it is to be 2-0 on the road. Mack, loom at the schedule. That any of those games were close is a low point.

Yep, Marshall is looking like they will pull off a major upset. App St. tied with Texas A&M. I know we aren't where we want to be and major improvements are needed but maybe these smaller teams are better than we realize especially with the D1 transfers, 5th and 6th year players.
Right. To be King of the Sunbelt, we must beat Marshall. And the Marshall DBs do know how to play. They'd make our receivers work very hard, while our DBs would make the Marshall QB look like an All-American.
They definitely could win the Sunbelt. But is UNC football always going be a 6-6 and 7-5, maybe 8-4, type team happy to be in close games with Sunbelt powers?

Yes, but if those Ws are not part of teams with impressive records, then they are of little value. Meaning, if you have tight Ws over lesser programs and learn nothing from your struggles and failures, then the Ws are not worth a whole lot.
Right now, this team looks like another 6-6. And the potential is there to be a double digit winner.
