How did coach K dominate UNC from the point Barnes stepped on campus in chapel Hill? Barnes was 2-2 vs Duke that included an 88-70 drubbing in Cameron. Dukes two wins against Barnes UNC clubs where for a combined 7 points...
Yeah, and some of those duke playes got their bling before they won their ring !

With Giles wanting to be a stretch 4, it just doesn't make any logical sense for him to come here. That would never work in Roy's system. UNLESS, Roy was somehow open to employing a version of Dean's half court set where guys like Perkins were able to roam out to the perimeter and face up opponents. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense for him or us for him to come here other than just having a big name on the roster. Roy's system is for bigs who want to be bigs and stay in the post. In fact, if I were advising him, that's exactly what I would tell him. And so, for what he what wants to do, Duke is going to be his best option and there are already success stories of bigs who have played that kind of role. And if K doesn't get him, I see him in KY before going over to Wake.

st' louie blew obviously needs a vocabulary definition refresher. too means as well or also or excess as in too much , to is a preposition as in St Louie blew should go back "to" his own team's board. to is also a verb as in I want St' Louie blew "to" stay on his own team's board when he gets back there..
I thought the 2 Williams kids were stretch 4's that won a championship in this same system!!..that didn't work right?

Be careful, Mr. 32 knows everything about UNC's system and we know nothing! Despite the FACT that every time we have a 4 that can MAKE long distance shots we let him, he condemns us for I guess not forcing bigs to do things they can't actually do. But then I'm probably wrong on all counts! Even though Roy let a near 7 footer try to play 3, he probably would not let a stretch 4 shoot from the outside since he never adjusts his style, boy you are priceless dude!
Giles would flourish under Roy and anyone with even minimum intelligence knows it! I have only the slightest hope for him coming, but boy wouldn't that be a great team if he did!

Gary, he is probably still suffering from the Barnes announcement and that is a sickness. Could be bad and getting worse. I fear for him and other Duke fans like him. Hindsight is 20-20. Perhaps if K and the Duke fans could have actually predicted Duke would win 2 NCAA titles within 5 years after the Barnes signing they would have been so upset when Barnes signed with UNC. K and the Duke fans will never recover from that Barnes announcement. K was kicking chairs around that day like they were toys. And the fans, they still hate Barnes. Gotta come up with a name for that day that in Duke history. Any suggestions? That was a painful day for Duke fans. I'm still praying for them to recover. Timothy, no one recovers from a death to a close family member. That's the feeling it was for Duke fans and K on the Barnes Skype Massacre. It was like a death in the family to many Duke fans and K. I feel sorry for you. I will keep praying for you because of that unfortunate experience.
I hope to have two more unfortunate experiences in the next 5 years as well. If i do, two more banners will hang in remembrance.

Timothy, you are becoming my penpal. Duke can win the next 5 titles and you still will not get over the Barnes Skype Massacre. No one gets over a death to a close family member. I can assure you of one thing that will make the Duke fans happy. K will never retire. He will always suffer from TWS (Tiger Woods Syndrome) and die in the hospital with the decease. I can see the headlines now "The NCAA grants a special rule for Coach K at age 95 to use a wheel chair on the bench" for one last year to try to break Wooden's record". The only record K does not have is Wooden record and he will die a disgruntled old man unhappy by not accomplishing it. The man never smiles more than 10 seconds at a time.
