I don't see this team going to the NCAA tournament. Get with our GM, make a plan for portal targets and rebuild this team.
2025-26 starts now. Tonight was a chance to see if this team really had improved a significant level or if it was a schedule aided recent run. They got a little better but not nearly good enough.
Plan for 2025-26 and execute that plan. This roster needs to be completely overhauled. It’s full of role player 5th offensive options. Bring in legit 1s and 2s. They’ll have no shortage of 5th. They’re a dime a dozen across the country.
Its crazy how people are still in deniable about this. Theres elite coaches like Pearl, Oates, Sampson getting elite talent now how does anyone expect us to keep up even if we get equal talent when we have such a disadvantage on the bench?
You mean the guy who swept dook and got a #1 seed last season?
The only difference between last season and this is the talent on the floor. Ingram and Bacot were legit Carolina level starting bigs. Withers/Lubin/Washington are not Carolina level starters.
Agree this team lacks talent/ lacks a big . compare it to say the 2019 team… Coby > Ian or Rj … Nas and Drake are similar but offensively Nas was more polished and more of a threat .. Cam > Seth .. then there was Maye .. Heck I’d rather have Garrison Brooks than either Withers or Lubin.. if this team had a player like Bacot its top 15… need better Jimmy & Joes
You mean dook, biatch? or Dook, ya bitch? You seem like the emotional type, one that can't analyze or problem solve. This is because of your feelings, you think they are more important than anything reasonable or true. I don't judge man, I'm still your boy, just pointing out the obvious.
JD, I don't know man, I'm not convinced he should be shown the door quite yet... What if he had a year or two more, learning this player acquisition culture and finally realizing analytics do help, do you think he would increase his success?
So does that 10 minutes include final 10 minutes of 1st half and first 8 of 2nd half? My complaint would be why we are not putting Seth as our back up PG. When RJ is our PG nobody else is doing anything. RJ played well so not knocking him.
I want to see Seth Trimble play more minutes than EC at PG. Another team I would probably say go with EC.
Ian Jackson and Powell disappointed me tonight. I thought they would be sick of hearing about Dook freshmen!
I know it sounds funny, but we can win ACC tournament.
Let's get a full team's worth of talent and see what happens. That seems to be the plan - throw money and new hires at the job of getting top players and see if Hubert can make that work.
Had they got even the Michigan Center for example that’s a 4/5 game difference just based on talent no real coaching needed
Dusty May brings 7'1 250 Goldin with him and adds 7'0 250 Wolf. Both play starter minutes. They are the top 2 scorers on the team. They are the top 2 rebounders on the team. And Wolf is even the #2 assist guy.
Michigan is only 3rd in their conference. Clearly Dusty May sucks as a coach.
