...Newton (Hagans) beat Wheeler (EJ) in state playoffs down here. I heard Brad was in the house, checking on EJ (obviously), and conveniently Hagans...
Well... that part is unclear. There are conflicting reports even down here. If he stays in '19 he'll be too old to play GHSA then and would have to do prep/private school. He originally decided to reclassify when he committed to UGA. Would he go ahead and do it with another school coming in? Maybe. Roy's not gonna touch that situation unless he thinks it's on the up-and-up, but right now I couldn't tell ya either way.Hagan is staying in the 2019 class. Won't matter to Felton next year.
If we could only pull one more player and Hagans and EJ were our options, who would benefit us the most next year? With or without Felton.Well... that part is unclear. EJ we are guard heavyIf we could only pull one more player and Hagans and EJ were our options, who would benefit us the most next year? With or without Felton.
Without Felton? Probably Hagans (although it would depend on his freshman adjustment). If we could only pull one more player and Hagans and EJ were our options, who would benefit us the most next year? With or without Felton.
That would seem to be the likely trade-off.Gary do you think if Roy offers Hagan then Felton isn't coming back??
Felton is coming back
Felton is coming back

If Cam leaves, we'll have 2 open spots...I'd love for those 2 to be teammates at UNC.
NBA is not the only place a player can get paid to play basketball and he already has his degree. Transferring and keeping his two years of eligibility had a lot to do with Johnson wanting to play at UNC. Plus if he had lost a year he would have had to sit out this year, which would have derailed any chance of Johnson going pro after this season. Why does anyone still think Cam is going anywhere? He's not even considered a top 100 NBA draft prospect (no one on our roster is per ESPN's latest top 100 rankings). Remember how hard he fought while transferring to keep his 2 years of eligibility? Also, doesn't anyone else feel like Roy would've acknowledged him at senior night, maybe not to the same level as Joel or Theo, if he there was any reason to think he'd be gone? At least start him over Luke with the other 4 seniors?
I’ve been the biggest Felton supporter on here but he shouldn’t blame the university for HIS actions.Ouch his attorney was not playing in her statement. Saying we broke him and he doesn't trust us. Dang could impact some recruits. Wonder how the family is taking it.
She was talking about the University not Roy. It would be more impactful I would imagine if he was saying Roy had done this to him.Ouch his attorney was not playing in her statement. Saying we broke him and he doesn't trust us. Dang could impact some recruits. Wonder how the family is taking it.

If he transfers would he have to sit out a year?Nope did not go well bet KY is the next stop or g league
To be fair he didn't his attorney didI’ve been the biggest Felton supporter on here but he shouldn’t blame the university for HIS actions.
Remember what I said about trusting what attorneys say? This is the same person who said everyone was supporting him and he'll be back soon.Ouch his attorney was not playing in her statement. This is true but the justice system is not supposed to work that way; it's innocent until proven guilty. Not guilty until proven innocentThe alternative is the school ignores allegations, and ends up in a Michigan State situation. UNC was right to be patient and let it play out, even if it "broke" Jalek and he now doesn't trust the school. Much bigger issue than basketball.
Probably half he was pulled in January after all. Or he could go the NBA draft or g-league routeIf he transfers would he have to sit out a year?

They don't have to; public opinion can be a mugNo one has formally declared him guilty of anything. He's choosing to move on before the investigation is over. He had to make a choice, and he's doing that. We have no idea what information is driving the investigation; what we know is no one from the school, team, or police department has said a single word to declare him guilty at this point. His lawyer is representing him the way she should, but no one (that matters) has declared him guilty.

Fair enough... Now I am hearing he was snap chatting naked pics of a 14 yr old girl?Fine, but no one at UNC has done anything unconstitutional in terms of the state declaring him guilty without due process. Seems to me he's getting a pretty thorough investigation before being charged or permanently punished with nothing being leaked whatsoever. We've heard some accusations from a student on Twitter, and some statements by his own lawyer, but nothing from anyone connected with the school or the government. No one's violating his rights by temporarily holding him out of school while investigating allegations.

Me either I told my boy I didn't think that was it. All this speculation is Killin me; I know it was doing worse to him.Hadn't heard that one, but would be pretty bad if true.
Yeah, these things are dynamic. Jalek withdrawing from the University doesn't mean anything at this point as to whether or not he can return. He'd have to start a semester fresh anyway.I'll still wait to find out when the info is official. I do not put any credence in social media OR the words of his lawyer!
