So is anyone surprised at the conservative victories in the off year elections of yesterday. Especially in Virginia who the democrats were fully expecting to turn it blue, and in Kentucky where a guy with no experience wins the Governors race and his second in command will be a BLACK REPUBLICAN WOMAN!

How did the GOP win so big in Virginia? They had Democrats to thank for it. The Democrats believed their echo chamber propaganda that gun control is a winning issue. Democratic Governor Terry McAuliffe aggressive campaigned for more gun control measures. But he also campaigned on expanding Obamacare in Virginia too. Voters rejected both efforts. Republicans were able to defeat Democrats by claiming those Democrats could not be trusted to keep McAuliffe from passing gun control legislation and expanding Obamacare.
In Kentucky, despite polling showing that Matt Bevin would lose to Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway, Bevin actually won. It was a surprise upset and saw Bevin winning by eight points. The night before the election, a highly regarded Republican operative told me that Republican internal polling had Bevin winning by just a quarter of a point.
Though Kentucky has been a mostly Republican state in federal elections, in state elections it has tended to be Democrat. It had a Democratic Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, etc. Now Kentucky not only has a Republican Governor, but also the first black Lieutenant Governor in Kentucky history. She is also a Republican.
Next up November 2016 and a mass reawakening of the American people and the Silent Majority. I think I speak for many in the fact that we are FED UP with politics in general and its time for a REAL CHANGE.
