I didn't read the article, I try to avoid ESPN if I can. But the ACC did grossly underachieve in the tournament. I thought FSU, UVA, Louisville, and even Wake would all do better. It was a little embarrassing, TBH.I'm afraid he's right,FSU,Virginia was an embarrassment.
For the past four years, I have bet a case of premium beer with a dookie friend of mine, saying that UNC would advance farther in the NCAAT than dook. I've won 3 of the 4 years. He is livid this year, acting moon bat crazy. I'm lovin' it.
When I say his side of the aisle, I mean media. Specific to Goodman, on more than one occasion he's "leaked" stories or put on that he has these anonymous sources. Somebody called him out in the last 5 years, maybe it was Roy or Cal, but it was a big name maybe even Boeheim, nonetheless, he had put out an article about a player in particular and a coach, and the coach pretty much called bullshit on everything he said including his anonymous sources close to the situation.
I disagree. I pull for all ACC teams except dook and NVSU. The better those teams fare, the better it makes us look when we we win the conference. And the more money the ACC splits among it's members. Most people I know generally root for other members of their team's conference, with the exception of their hated rival(s).U know who lives vicariously through the success of their conference? Fans of teams that SUCK. Yea i realize the benefits of a strong conference and ratings and money yadda yadda but if every single acc team other than us craps the bed then its a good day at my house. They can all gth.
