The 2nd leg of the circuit moves to Phoenix this weekend.

DAY 1
---Elliott Cadeau with another 10+ assist game to go along with 9pts/5rbs/4stls as the Lightning improve to 5-0

---Jarin Stevenson filled the stat sheet but did not shoot well. 10pts/6rbs/4asst/1blk/1stl missed all 3 shots from 3-point territory.

---Drake Powell 6pts/7rbs/4asst/3blks as TEAM CP3 improve to 5-0 although he had a rough night shooting from deep.

---2024 target Boogie Fland 8pts/4asst/3rbs/only 1 TO but struggled shooting in the PSA Cards win.



Side note:
---Remember the name Austin Swartz, bigtime shooter from the Concord, NC area.
---Ga Stars lost bad but 2025 target Caleb Wilson is a monster. 16pts/10rbs/5asst/5blks

DAY 2
Top 5 travel team heavy weights NY Lightning(Elliott Cadeau) 5-0 and TEAM CP3(Drake Powell) 5-0 matched up this afternoon.

----Elliott Cadeau and NY stole the show once again and moved to 6-0. The UNC commit had 14pts/11asst/4rbs.
----Drake Powell 13pts/1asst/Knocked down a 3.

Awful would be an understatement.
I was wondering why we had not offered because he wanted a UNC offer real bad, but now I see why.
 
Stevenson has an influence that stats cannot confirm.
In particular, his team defense understanding and defensive power were considerable despite his underdeveloped body.
If he had been on a team with a lot of talented players, like the NY Lightning or Team CP3, his stock would have risen considerably.

Stevenson is Top 15 in the 2024 class, his stock doesn't need to rise, his overall game needs to rise.
Better HS competition would be a start, he should transfer to an elite school that plays other elite schools. Or at the very least better instate competition.
And yes getting in the weight room should be on his to-do list this offseason as well..

---Elliott Cadeau and the Lightning were shocked by Houston Hoops.
The UNC commit had 7pts/10asst/5rbs

---2024 commit James Brown had a 13pts/8rbs game.
---2024 target Boogie Fland had a 22pt game and PSA Cardinals are 3-0 this weekend so far

Side note:
---The young man Austin Swartz we mentioned dropped 30 tonight in the Boo Williams 2-point loss. The 3-star recruit is playing like a 4/5-star in the early travel season. I would be shocked if he's not a Top 50 kid at the end of the summer

This kid is really special, hard to believe he is so young, have said on couple other threads that I see some Kobe in some of his game, I think he has a huge upside. There is some serious talent lining up in that 25 class.

Indeed 2025 may have more talented players than any class over the past 10 years, when you consider top to bottom recruits.

Lightning came out nonchalant and got down 23 in the second quarter, then stormed back to actually take a lead in the 3rd. Then they forgot who their PG was and tried to play individual ball and lost.

They are in overtime now with drive nation . They was up 5pts with 44 seconds, Elliot made 2 bad turnovers and questionable foul drive nation tied the game. He will pick it up back up. He always do. UNC4L!

Lightning beat drive nation in OT, 7-1 after 2 sessions. Boogie fland PSA cardinals team beat Houston hoops in OT. He has 31pts. I can’t wait to see lightning vs PSA soon.

Well, they got themselves into that by trying to show-time every finish and once again, forgetting who their PG is and forcing stuff.

They've got weaknesses: On defense not a lot of size and going for steals instead of solid defensive footwork, and the propensity to be too loose trying to highlight-film every finish. That stuff needs to tighten up when they get to Peach Jam.

Talent-wise, though, they are sick.

Yes they do, typical AAU stuff that will have to be removed/re-coached at the NCAA level

DAY 3
----Elliott was not about to let the NY Lightning blow another game. He was super aggressive today, attacking off the dribble and in transition. 21pts/10asst/6rbs and looked good hitting his only 3-point attempt.

-----2024 target Boogie Fland and Tre Johnson went head to head with both Top 10 guys going over 30pts. Boogie started the EYBL slow but he's heating up bigtime. Hopefully we still have a chance with him.

----2026 man-child Tyran Stokes hit a deep corner 3 in the waning seconds to knock off Brad Beal Elite and keep Vegas Elite as the EYBL's only undefeated squad(8-0)
Stokes with 14pts/5rbs/2asst.

Stokes has a nice stroke and a man's body! If he continues to work at his craft, he will be a monster in college! (If he actually has to go to college)

15yr old kid, that is a 15yr old kid. 6'7" 220lbs and STILL has 3yrs of high school left, still at that age we see serious growth spurts. A yr ago this kid was in MIDDLE school folks, MIDDLE SCHOOL???????
