My faith in this board has been restored since we are 54 posts in and no one has posted that god awful ear bleeding Mariah Carey song.

The time of year to remember that mariah carey is a dirty girl and “all i want for christmas” makes me feel funny

Ok, so what makes 1972 the cutoff?Rule of thumb:
Christmas Songs Before 1972: Good
Christmas Songs After 1972: Bad
Not sure I understand the question. Everything after then is garbage so that's the date.Ok, so what makes 1972 the cutoff?
Fair enough. But can we get a mayoral exemption for this one from '77?Not sure I understand the question. Everything after then is garbage so that's the date.
I like Bowie. I like Bing. But "Little Drummer Boy" is not the hill you wanna die on.
My wife and I are in Europe for the Christmas markets. They will get you in the sprit quick.
Just got back late last night. The markets in Munich were great as was the big one in Nuremberg. We also went to the ones in Vienna and Salzburg. The .food and drink was outstanding. Took a side trip to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia and it was great and prices were a lot better.I was in Austria and Munich recently, missed the XMas markets by a month. I almost want to go back now to see them.
