True; we were sooooooo close. We just couldn't quite get by FSU - I went to that 97 game vs the Seminoles thinking we would finally get them at home, but nope. Sad.

We had the #2 defense in the country

It was a thing of absolute beauty.

FSU had 20-25 players who would make an NFL roster. That is the only reason our 1997 team had 1 loss.
