LARRY FEDORA, HEAD COACH
On Baylor’s strengths:
“Defensively, they are very sound. They are going to heat you up on third down and come after you
which creates a problem. On the offensive side of the field, they are going to spread the field and throw
the ball vertically to those gifted receivers they have and then they’re going to run the football. They’ve
got a big, physical offensive line that they feel very good about.”
On the expectation of a high-scoring #RAB:
“I’ve those things before and then sometimes it goes the complete opposite way. There’s potential on
the field, but we’ll see what happens. Both teams will be really well prepared and it should be a lot of
fun to watch.”
On what could be a historic season:
“This 2015 team and the seniors that are leading them are the ones that have put us in this position. I’m
very proud of what they’ve done for this program and for Carolina football. They’ve set the base for the
future classes and what we’re going to do moving forward.”
On the positive experience in Orlando:
“We’ve had a great time and had a lot of fun. We spent the first day at Magic Kingdom. That was a lot
of fun for them. And then we were able to take them over to the (Give Kids the World Village) here in
Orlando and they got to spend a couple of hours with the kids that were there with their familes and
they were able to bring some smiles to some young people’s faces. That was a lot of fun to see. Our
guys are going to Universal (Studios) today. They’ve had a lot of fun. This has been a great bowl.”
