idk if FGCU had him scouted like this, but they shaded him towards the middle forcing him to spin baseline... Something he probably isn't capable of doing at this point of his career.
Every year it seems to be that one player for us that I can't wait to leave..i hope Meeks loses his mind and go pro like jmm and JP did!!
the problem with that is depth next year...so, either he gets go go gadget legs or he's role player, again.
Win is a Win. They escaped this one. I just hope they have enough confidence to stop Kris Dunn and the Friars.
The half time speech might have included if we lose someone will be walking back to the Hill and it won't be me.
MUCH better second half. Had they played like that the first half, this would have been over by the mid point of the second half. Defense was like night and day, so I hope they play with that kind of intensity on Saturday. Like Charles Barkley said, we we are on no one in the country can beat us. But when we are off it sure as heck is ugly.

As Marcus stated this team was no cakewalk. I applaud them and their hustle, but it sure awesome for us to put the heel down on their head and take over this game. Thanks boys. Keep rollin.
Where is that ESPN writer who boasted Carolina would lose to FGCU---maybe he should write for the National Inquiry because they print a bunch of junk as well...
Love that Roy did not take credit for a "hafetime talk". After all the players did respond. Anyone could have yelled at them. Certainly a few of us did. I do admire Roy.
Hicks and Johnson on the post game indicated none of the coaches were too happy with the team's first half performance.
