My gut call when Coach Shelton retired was that it would be Erin Matson if she wanted it. I don't have any insider information that made me think that, but it was obvious that there was a good chance she would be asked.

It's no doubt they have some intelligent player on the team. Have to agree with you that Matson was the first choice to succeed Shelton, just wishing her success on becoming the new coach.
