I'm taking a staycation at the end of the month where I take a week off from work to do nothing but eat and sleep at home, if that counts.
We loved Barcelona, if you're into architecture or design it's a great city. We also really liked Segovia, in northern Spain. They have one of the best preserved Roman aqueducts in Europe, it was amazing. Tapas were our main source of food and fell in love with them also. The only downside is you have to be really watchful of pickpockets, Barcelona is the pickpocket capital of the world..Took a long wknd at Wrightsville Bch. for an anniversary tradition. We stay at the nice Holiday Inn Sunspree and just kick back for 3 or 4 days . .
What were a few highlights of your trip to Spain . . ? The Spaniards are some really nice folk IMO . .
Lemme know something, PR . .
Headed to Colorado and a glorious week hanging at 9500' above Buena Vista CO.....the trout streams will be running cold and the peaks will be a mixture of sun and snow! I will sleep like a baby and the food will taste like heaven...I am so ready for this trip that I may not come back home.......
Wyoming and South Dakota last year……back to the Land of Milk and Honey this year….and cold streams and high mountain passes!!!IIRC, didn't you do this vacation trip last year as well . . ?
My wife has always wanted to take a Rhine river cruise that stops at all the Christmas markets, haven't done it yet but its still on our list.5 days last month at a 5 star resort in Mexico, Grand Velas Riviera Maya. Perfect weather, just hanging by the pool scoping out the Latina honeys in their thong bikinis.
17 days coming in Oct/Nov on a river cruise on the Rhine.
