Generally speaking, what do you do?

Well, you're not that far off on me. I was job searching for a while (read: a very long time) out of college, and have worked various odd jobs in the interim. I worked for a very small, weekly newspaper for a few months as a combination ad sales/journalist position before the paper downsized and let me go. I worked for my dad & uncle at their pharmacy for a few months, so that answers what Grill does. The pharmacy was owned by their father before them, but none of their children followed the pharmacist trail. I then got on the Wayne County substitute teacher list at the start of the 2014-15 year and subbed at my old high school. After a few weeks, I ended up getting put in a permanent sub position for a semester for a teacher on maternity leave, so I had to actually teach & plan lessons as opposed to "Here's what your teacher left for you to do, I will do my best to help you." That was quite the experience, particularly since it was a math class and I hadn't taken a math class since I was in high school. Since the school year ended, I've been working at a place that screen prints t-shirts as the graphic design artist, so that is currently what I do. In my free time, I try to do what I would like to be doing as a career, and that's writing (hence why I took the newspaper job). So that's a long-winded way of saying I've had a weird job history, but you were basically close because I haven't been at any job over the past 3 years more than about 6 months (hopefully the current one, which is in its 6th month, makes it past that mark though!)
Which High School?

Taz used to work for FedEx . .

Wayno is a sales representative for a big power tool company or something of the like.

Billy is close. I am a sales representative for a German air compressor company. The most expensive on the planet but also the best. We have units up to 700 horse power and tanks up to 8,000 gallons. Pretty neat stuff.

I am a Systems Engineer and have mostly concentrated on designing and building large data centers. I also specialize in Messaging security. I have contracted most of my life but was asked to stay on with one of the largest Health Care technology companies in the world after a recent messaging project. So right now I'm ensuring their messaging systems remain compliant, secure and routed properly. We also host and/or route mail for companies we acquire (sort of like an ISP in that regard). I also serve as the guy the messaging admins run to when they cannot get something to work or have problems with their messaging systems.

Oh and like Cory, I lay pipe. But only once a year on my birthday.

Business should be good. That tiny house thing is super trendy right now. Personally, I think it's ridiculous.

A lot of people are interested, but whether they can commit to that much downsizing remains to be seen. We're currently working on the model unit. This isn't just for full time residence. You could use it for a hunting/getaway cabin, rental house, NASCAR infield trailer etc... Zoning laws are the biggest obstacle right now, so we're working with the local communities to find some common ground.

The TV shows that I've seen have focused on out west where the pricing is ridiculous. It's still bad on a per square foot basis here, but we're trying to stay in the realm of the average new car.

Yeah, I hear you. My major (well, one of them) was actually in Communication Studies with a focus in media production, so the writing I'm talking about is more fiction, but trust me, I know it's not exactly a field with a lot of job opportunities at every turn. Which is why I'm designing t-shirts at the moment :p

I spent countless hours between classes in college writing "the next great fantasy trilogy" and then after a couple hundred pages realized I was just rewriting my own version of Lord of the Rings, only not nearly as good. I enjoyed doing it and would like to get back to it one day but I've found I don't have the focus I did twenty something years ago.
