Perfect example of what not to do if you are a top prospect - hurry up and go to a subpar basketball program a year early and then enter the draft when you are not ready. Interesting that Stevenson is basically a poor man’s version of GG and appears to be following the same path.
I was going to make a joke about Ja Morant and Marcus Smart being his mentors, but then I realized he'll be in the G-League and probably won't be around the actual NBA players much.
Mom made the wrong move. Jarin Stevenson isn't ready for college, his parents are making the same mistake. Sad to see.
Fast tracks to become rich is what a lot of parents see, they are listening to advice from people close to them, without researching for themselves. As has been stated many times GG mother wanted him close to her, but what she needed to realize that when he went pro, he would be leaving her shelter world. Hope GG will be able to realize his dream of staying in the NBA, getting there was the first step. Does he have the maturity to achieve this, who knows?
Agree jarin isn't ready for college ball , he will likely be in the transfer portal next yr & possibly a heel
Just thought about it, he will probably be home sick after spending a year in Alabama. 😃😃😃😃😃
