Golf Club Question

I'm not sure if I've posted this question before, but now that I'm taking golf improvement more seriously, I can use any help I can get.

I've been playing with really old thin Ben Hogan apex forged blades. I got those clubs for free when I was in high school and have never swung different irons. My coach tells me I shouldn't be playing with them, but if I can hit those, I'll be able to hit with any modern iron.

Any recommendation for all clubs? I'll basically need a new set because my driver and putter are trash too since it came with the original set.

If you are interested in a 3 wood let me know. I have an Callaway XR I am probably about to sell on Ebay. I recently got the Rogue to replace it. Honestly, I'm not sure I get any more out of it but it looks pretty awesome so will probably keep it.
