I wanted to highlight this quote from Adam because this part of the game actually really stood out to me because Cam appeared to be very vocal. It was great to see out of him and showed him getting more comfortable here and taking on some leadership. You could see it in the way he plays and the way he carries himself that he is a perfect fit for what Roy believes in and a great kid to have apart of the Carolina Family!

Cam is going to be so vital to this team's success down the stretch. As long as they'll rebound with a vengeance, Roy will be able to play the small lineup much more. And while that lineup may give up a little defensively, it makes us much harder to guard because of the ability to run and the better spacing it affords us.

It gives up rim protection but it allows guys to switch , pressure the ball , and help defend better. With rebounding the emphasis on all 5 guys rebounding at all times is extremely important.

To be honest, we really didn't have a lot of rim protection with Garrison in there, so I think it was a great decision on Roy's part. I think he and Sterling will continue to get 23-25 minutes between them. But our best five players should get about 30 MPG from here on out because there is a significant drop off when we go to our bench.

But our reserves will play a big part in the success of this team down the stretch, have no doubt. You can't win a title with 5 players, the LOM has tried and even he had to have at least 7-8 players to achieve it. Sterling, Garrison, and Jalek will continue to improve and we need them to.
