@froropmkr72 @Flatlandcoug @BleedCrimsonandGray and others,

Hope y'all enjoyed the mini takeover this morning. I'm fairly certain our assault lasted longer than the one in Grenada.

Anyway, y'all are welcome here any time and please feel free to discuss politickin', boobs, guns, types of Coke, Cougar football, or anything else you'd like.

We promise to pull against Washington in the upcoming Apple Cup.

Yeah, sorry. I had some stuff go down today and couldn't really throw down.

That was an epic takeover. As Flat said in one thread, it sure beat the endless discussion about pulling our starting QB. Y'all have a great sense of humor. I especially enjoyed the 'Can you see Russia ...' thread. I was actually sad the mods took some of the threads down. Anyway, thanks for making my day.

Also, any school that is a rival to Dook is OK in my book.

We'll be rooting for UNC the rest of the way. Not that I want to go to El Paso in the future, but if we do, hope it's against you guys so we can jackhammered drunk together.
Deal. We will make this happen.

Also, any school that is a rival to Dook is OK in my book.
This guy gets it.

Jackhammered drunk, lol. I'm using that at some point.

And actually, the Sun Bowl might be in play for us next year. Would require probably a 8-4 record or 7-5 record, which might be possible. I'm not sure what your roster will look like next year? Y'all lose Falk don't you?

Falk graduates this year. His replacement, Hilinski, is a fearless gunslinger with a better arm and great rapport with our receivers, but he also has shown a strong rapport with opposing DB's as well. We lose our best overall RB, two pretty solid OL players and our biggest guy on the DL. That said, we are bringing back a pretty solid group of guys overall. I'd say that more often than not, we are going to be an 8 win team with a +/- 2 wins on that total as long as Leach sticks with us. We aren't "likely" to win our conference but nobody looks forward to playing us any more.

As far as drinking terms go, the first time I walked into a liquor store looking for a half rack of MGD, the clerk looked at me like I was an alien and not just because it turns out the Miller Genuine Draft wasn't particularly good beer. Prefunking is another important term for a WSU graduate.

Forgive me for not knowing, but for y'all Pac-12 teams, do you have a fixed cross-division rival? How in the world does the Pac-12 draw up the schedules? It looks like y'all played Colorado and Arizona in 2015, 2016, and this year? How is that possible when CU and UA are in the Pac-12 South? Lol.

But anyway, we feel your pain on losing a lot of your starters next year. From our 2016 team (most of whom were also big players on our 2015 ACC Coastal Champions team) to this year, we lost like 91% of our total offense, including guys like #2 overall pick Mitch Trubisky and other NFL receivers and running backs as well. I agree that as long as Leach is there, y'all will be an 8-win team minimum. The dumbest thing Texas Tech has ever done (besides choosing to be built in Lubbock) is fire Mike Leach. CraigJamesLoller.

Lol, no joke........in North Carolina, you can't buy beer at a liquor store. State government controls liquor stores (known as ABC Stores) and you can buy liquor only there. Not beer, not wine, not mixers, not olives, just liquor.

To get beer, you have to go to a grocery store or convenience store.

Excellent. I would give my analysis on the stats, but I'm blacklisted.

I must say, it is STAGGERING how good Washington State's defense has been this year, based on the stats. Leach's Air Raid offense has the Cougs' offense running the 3rd most plays in the country at 80.3, thus meaning Wazzu's defense faces the 9th most plays per game in the country. And yet..... the Cougs defense is 10th nationally in yards allowed at 297.5 yards per game allowed (4.9 yards per play). That's incredible. Can we have y'alls D-Coordinator?

Washington used to be that way. Now you can buy liquor in grocery stores. Kansas is halfway in between. No liquor in grocery stores but you can buy just about anything at the liquor store. But you better plan ahead if you want beer for a Sunday night football game. Beer sales are only allowed 12 to 6 on Sundays in grocery stores and that's a recent improvement. Before that, the Lawd didn't want you to drink beer at home on Sundays and preferred that you went to a bar and then drove home.

How you described Kansas is essentially the exact same as it is in Georgia, except the Sunday sales vary by county. Some sell all day (but sometimes only after 11:30 a.m. or noon), and other counties don't sell at all on Sunday. And others are dry lol. I really wish we could buy liquor in grocery stores

@Raising Heel you should reply to the most recent poast in the thread you have going on Wazzu's board (poast # 6) and tell them none of us can until we are un-blacklisted. Lol.

Or.... just invite them over here. I don't know, you do you.

Your dickhole moderator not only deleted the thread but banned my other handle as well. I mean it's not like I don't have a dozen alternate logins, but I'm not going to do something nice for a Jerky McJerkface.

For the rest of you fine folks, here are the stats for your matchup with Utah this weekend if you're interested. These are all images that you can click to enlarge.

Yeah.......I think the takeover got the panties knotted up pretty tight. I'm actually a bit surprised, because the mods generally don't seem to pay much attention to the board overall.

Hey raising heel and others, thanks for the stats analysis on WSU. Yes our speed D has been the biggest surprise this season. There have been several games where our D actually was the difference maker in a win. I haven't been able to say that very often the last 15 years. People rightly praise (and want to poach) our DC but I also think the addition of Phelps our new DL coach has been pivotal as well. He's very good at teaching technique and getting more penetration. It's probably inevitable that our DC will be going somewhere but hopefully we get to keep him at least another year.

I am sorry the mods over at the wsu board got so heavy handed about your contributions Meanwhile they let endless ocd, name calling, and stalking threads between certain posters who are named after WA cities go on, unchecked. But I still love 'em all. I don't post much in those threads but I still read every thread there, every day. You all have a pretty good vibe over here. I will probably continue to lurk here and perhaps post occasionally.

Oh and thanks to UNC for beating Gonzaga in hoops. You will be surprised to learn that not every WA resident is a bandwagon Zags fan. Especially WSU fans have reason to be annoyed after some of coach Fews comments and the fact that Gonzaga has refused to play us any more, thus cancelling one of college basketballs oldest rivalries--149 games since 1907.

Stay tuned Wazzu fans. We might just let y'all ride with us on our next mission. We're stepping it up a notch so we'll need all the men we can get. And you guys have proved to be supportive of the cause.

What's the vibe of the athletic department in terms of bolstering funds available for raises to assistant coaches? (Lord, that was a messy sentence). I believe you have a fairly new AD (?) who said y'alls football program was possibly the worst in the nation until Leach took over. Hopefully y'all can sustain some continuity for the next couple seasons.

Feel free.

Happy to be of service, lol. I don't particularly like that Gonzaga plays in such a weak ass conference and thus has an inflated W/L every year. It gets old hearing about the "marquee matchup" of Gonzaga vs. St. Mary's College. Yeah... tough stuff there.

That sucks that Few killed a historical rivalry. We have historical/geographical matchups in football/basketball that have been discontinued over the years (South Carolina and Maryland for both sports, for instance) and it always kinda sucks.

I'm ok with losing Maryland. lil' Carolina was before my time, so I don't really care about it. I like that we play them in baseball though.

Personally, I'm okay with losing Maryland, but in general it does always feel like we lose a part of our history.

The one that bothers me most still is losing Wake Forest for football. That was the most played rivalry involving two N.C. teams before the matchup was split up by the ACC divisions.

I guess, but I think UL is an upgrade even with everything that's going on with basketball. I have no buyers remorse.

You must have some friends in the athletic department that agree since we started scheduling non-conference games with them.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm 100% fine with Maryland leaving. Louisville is a HUGE upgrade over Maryland in every way. I've been very vocal about that on here and the other boards. Just from a historical viewpoint, it's kinda crappy. I'd like to play Maryland every year in basketball. But I'm totally fine not doing so lol. I have no love or respect for Maryland. I just have respect for history.

Could be. Could be. You know I've actually softened my stance a bit on "OOC" scheduling of conference teams. I used to hate the idea with a passion. I'm warming up to it a bit.
