A solid run for Pastner in his first year when it looked like he was inheriting a bottom of the barrel team.
Also - GT is an impressive 20-11 against the spread this season - for those interested in such things.

Pastner has done a good job...A whole lot better than I thought he would at the beginning of the season....And Jamie Dixon has also done an admirable job at his Alma-mater....Has the Horned-Frogs ever done anything in basketball before this year?....If so, I don't recall when it happened before or even if they ever made the NIT tourney, much less the NCAA?
Should be a good game between two teams that seem to mirror one another!
And Wake! We need to dominate the state right? I think another good in-state school only makes it harder for us.
And ND and BC. Those are my personal vendettas though.
Ugly game for GT.... BUt this can give them confidence for next season/ Not the best way to end this year but at least they got to the championship game.
A good post season run - even when losing the last game - can be a nice catalyst for next year. As we saw with our own NIT run after a dismal regular season in 2010.
