Smoking a spatchcock turkey, frying chicken, and roasting oysters . Weird surf and turf, but it's what was requested for today's meals. Feeding about 16 people. What ya got for meal plans today
Frying up a large Turkey breast this afternoon . . I'm already hungry.
My wife cooked two turkeys yesterday and we will be heading to mom’s house shortly.
Got the gang coming here. My sons are home on leave, the daughter and her fam will be here about 0900. I am truly a blessed man.

I feel the same, Gray . . also, I don't go anywhere on Black Friday, on that day I am hauling in the Thanksgiving decorations and pulling out the Christmas stuff. I do go out on Small Business Saturday and hit a few places and grab a lunch and martini, it's a personal tradition I started several decades ago.
I love Thanksgiving, and have the TV on the Hallmark channel that has the T-Day yule log and Christmas music playing. I'll drag the fire pit out in a couple of hours and get that rolling so I can enjoy some burning firewood will frying that turkey.

I've never thought about going with shellfish on thanksgiving but I think oysters could be a good appetizer. Nice call.
LOL . . no, it doesn't need to thaw, and be sure to fry it as close to the house as possible.

I cooked 3 Boston Butts on the grill this morning. Put them on about 5:45 and went back to bed. Got up at 730 and turned them over. 11:30 and they were done. Over 15lbs of pork and almost all of it was eaten. Easiest thing in the world to cook.
Well, hell . . thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes and all that, but, that GFY seems a li'l harsh . .
