Had to wait about 40 minutes. I should have waited a little later in the week when the crowds die down but wanted to get it over with.

Have never had to deal with much of a wait at my early voting site. My normal precinct on election day can be a different story, especially in those peak times before and after work.

Did you vote for the candidate currently under 4 separate FBI investigations?

I'm going myself in just a few minutes.

One of the benefits of living and working in a small town is that on election day I can walk down and vote and get back in 10-15 minutes at most (if I don't see twenty people I know along the way...)
I don't try to go at lunch or after 5:00 though. Usually mid-morning or mid-afternoon.

I always vote on election day . .

I like to as well. Although I've only been old enough to vote in 2 presidential elections so far, this will be my 3rd, and the first I had to submit an absentee ballot to MA while I was at UNC.

I haven't voted for the winner in my previous two tries. Hoping that changes this time around.

Did my part to get Pence elected this morning. I have serious doubts the Donald is going to be in office long after seeing the Dems' propensity for violence and mayhem this cycle. Friggin' Nazis.

No kidding. I am shocked no one has made a serious attempt on his life yet.

I would never advocate or hope for his death, but you can probably tell how much I believe that may happen by the fact that I picked him in the death pool. People are just too damn crazy about this election.

Not voting for the first time in 35 yrs. if you're willing to lie and misrepresent yourself and opponent then gfy. That goes for every candidate for every position. I'm beyond jaded at this point. The electoral process is one big cluster coitus. Fixing it would be like trying to put the water back in a dam that broke. I dont know the answer. I dont really care either. Its a total embarrassment. Whoever is elected wont give a rats ass about anything except promoting the special interests that financed their campaigns. They dgaf about me or u or anyone.

You care if I vote for you then? They were about to let me vote for my dad until I corrected them, so it should be easy enough.

So you are going to skip the state and local candidates too? I'm hitting the skip button on the presidential vote, but I'm still going to vote for all the other offices.

Cracks me up that Billy Saffo is Wilmington's mayor. I hung out with his younger brother Tony, but got in my fair share of trouble due to Billy's coaxing. I think I had 13 shots of Ouzo at their house one evening and then drove to Wrightsville. Don't remember much other than "one more for the road JC". Woke up at somebody's beach house next to some broad that had thrown up all over herself. good times.

I am going to change my vote to the candidate who requires JC to tell at least one new story per week on OOTB.

You youngsters around here have no idea what you are missing.

I think I've shared most of the good ones. I'll say this though, whatever curse my parents put on me about reaping what you sow is sure working. My daughter at Ole Miss is catching up w me pretty quick in the legal fees department. and dont even get me started on lost iPhones, ids and debit cards.

Where do you live? Don't forget to include your street name and house number.

I was in line this morning at 5:40 for the 6:30 poll opening. I was the 5th person in line. By the time I got out at 6:45 there were over 100 people in line. I've been at the same polling location since I bought my house in 2008 and learned my lesson that year when I had to wait almost 2 hours to vote.
