Free throws for Sallis and he misses and Davis BOOM at the buzzer 67-66 and Carolina loses another close contest. The team is just snake bitten
I thought UNC missed several makable shots especially in the first half. That’s been a story all season.
This team really needs to get to the FT line to have any margin for error. It’s the easiest place to score from for a team that frequently struggles to score.
Wake did a good job not fouling and UNC missed shots like they did all season.
Same old story this season. Just not good enough.
But Powell was especially bad tonight.

So, I have been thinking about this at work today. Is the " One time transfer" thing in place now? It seems like the rules bend and then change every time the wind blows.

Not sure I buy this freshmen wall crap. They have been playing basketball since they could walk. Now I know without any doubt you’re gonna tell me how stupid that is and I must be new to the game and so so go for it Dave and co. I tend to think the guys are slowly giving up.

If you ever made one positive statement about anything Carolina this year. I haven't heard it. Ur such a negative douchebag. It's been a hard year . I get it. But the boys play hard as they can. They lose. But u attack the players and the donors. Why don't you give a million dollars to buy us a center. If not shut the hell up.
I’m noticing some of that. Winning is a habit, and so is losing. I’m seeing some of the bad body language with the coaches too. The effort is there, but as it has been noted earlier, our lack of front court play hurts us.
When we started to comeback in the 2nd, we ran a few plays where a C / PF caught the ball at the top of the key while the other guards made a break. It forced the defenders to try to multitask and they got lost. We got great results from it. I don't think I saw it again the rest of the way.

The coaching is a bigger problem than the roster
I’m just bringing up the idea. For Jackson I think it’s more he’s the focus on scouting reports now. Teams are planning to take things away from him. IJ also only recently started.
Powell on the other hand has started for a while and is playing out of position in a physically more demanding one. He isn’t a 4 so it might take more out of him physically and mentally.
Just a thought. Might not be the case. But it wouldn’t surprise me if Powell’s hit the wall.
That's such a lazy lame answer. There is no mandate to throw the ball inside in the halfcourt or the secondary break.

I saw Byron Sanders and Joel James run the court and get buckets or ft attempts by running the court and get MANDATED passes to the Strong side block.

I’m gonna go with lack of confidence and inability to stop the snowball from rolling down the hill when it starts going bad. That starts with coaching as well
Both share problems IMO. But Hubert’s talent evaluation has been the biggest problem.
This team’s ok on potentially good on the right day. But literally everyone on this team has significant limitations. And no true 2-way player on this roster. Seth is closest but he can disappear offensively with the best of them.
There’s not a lot of DUDES on this team. It’s IJ and RJ (on certain nights now). After that, I don’t know.
I would gladly pay for 2 subscriptions if we could possibly delete his in the process
This is the worst group of frontcourt talent on a UNC roster in my lifetime. You're seriously downplaying how bad HALF THE ROSTER is.
Dean and Roy would have at least tried to get it inside but what do I know according to some people. This team just launches wild three pointers and prays it goes in.
