Hitler was a German who fought in WW1 and the reason WW2 happens.

I'm disappointed. I hoped the reason they aren't going is because they are taking a moral stance against a president who sees no difference between the KKK and fascists versus those who oppose racism and fascism.

I have never been more disappointed in my 2 real (as in actually had a chance to get elected) choices in a presidential election as I was in 2016. And that is saying something, as several in the past were real letdowns as well.

I believe that devaluing the office of president is a very slippery slope. It started with the hatred for Obama and now we have the same level of hatred for Trump! Sometimes you reap what you sow! I believe what I have been told by Roy and UNC so I do not see any controversy. I also support the idea that America was built on the concept of freedom of ideas and common purpose. So any Vet that fought for this country and its flag fought for the right to protest anything citizens or visitors feel is unjust! No matter our personal intent, if we are Americans, we must believe in freedom first and ideology second.....otherwise we are NOT American!

I am African-American and I stand, remove my hat, and put my hand over my heart every time i hear the National Anthem (even on TV). I do this despite this country's abysmal record of treatment of my race because I believe in the ideal and I believe this is the closest the world can offer to that ideal! BUT I also understand and support others when they want to lodge a peaceful protest!
