I still don't understand why the Heels don't focus on the shooters. To me doesn't look like guarding the three is important to this team. I could be wrong but just my observation here. The good news is the defense is starting to wake up and push the running game.

Well, isn't that typical when some dookie goes out? Berry gets hammered and no call, but then gets called for looking at someone wrong and now they are running it back up on us.
Nothing like a little zebra momentum killer in the dork dome.

Officiating is godawful. Missed travels, inconsistent foul calls, the works.

IMO, they need to come out and throw the ball into post every trip down. Okafor is a heckuva player but he doesn't play defense at all...along with the bug eyed big dude next to him.
Proud of our guys for hanging touch. Yes, we are down but the effort is there. If you are honest you know the talent is better for Duke this year but I honestly care more about our effort than than a W. Effort will be important as the year progresses. Go Heels. Play your heart out this second half.
Lots of poor calls, but I have come to expect it when we play dook. And as is typical, K goes after the refs before sending his cabana boy out to field questions from the lowly reporters, so we can likely expect more whistles our way to start the half. Then if dook goes up big they will whistle the dook bench warmers to get the totals up by games end just so they can say it was "evenly called".
All in all, as bad as we started out we finished pretty good. Started going after rebounds and hustling and we weathered their runs. Like I said, zebras killed the momentum when we got it to within 4, but our big guys started going after it and put a lot of points up for us.
Defensively we look like we have no clue what is going on. Don't know why, but we don't. Better step it up if we want a chance to get a win, but this is more typical of a UNC/dook game. Not always pretty and usually a dog fight.
