Unfortunately for us, they are both pretty much what we have seen for the last several years. Good but not great. Some solid performances, but sometimes nearly invisible.
We need one or both to have a breakout season, but neither seems poised to do so. Although if Kennedy just stays healthy, that may be all we need from him.
It's still early. Berry being back will help them. Theo being back could too.
The main thing we need to see from both of them is a better motor. I'm frankly surprised to say that about Isaiah. It's always been a knock against Kennedy, but not against Isaiah. But he seems less aggressive this year than last.
I assume that has something to do with Isaiah trying to stay out of foul trouble. And, if so, it's sort of working. He's down on number of fouls committed per 40 minutes. But at the same time, he's getting fouled less per 40 minutes. Taken together, that suggests he is playing too cautiously.
