How long is a bottle of wine good for??

I like a glass of white occasionally and have numerous bottles that are collecting dust in the basement

Some go back to 2003, 4 7 10 etc/////// Are they still good or should I just dispose of them???

What is the shelf life of the average store bought Chardonnay or Pinot grig for example???

Open it and taste it, Max . . . that would be the best way to determine if it is still good.

Not only are they bad, they may be explosive. However I have a trained specialty Hazmat license for outdated alcohol exposure. Keep them in a dark, cool place and I will arrange to have them removed asap. Also, check your scotch- if any is over 25 years old, it could blow the whole neighborhood to smithereens. I will remove whatever bottles look dangerous as soon as I can get there.
