Yea seems so but honestly, the real head scratcher is missing so many open looks. HD has no answer for that. 60% from the line? 8 threes out of 32? lmao. Hit 28% of your threes in this game and the conversation is much different.
A couple of things that are glaring in this presser,
He said their ability to get to the free throw line and us not being able to was a problem and the guy is is that because of all the jump shots and he said that wasn't the reason they just didn't get there.
The he was ask about Withers hitting the 3 to go up 1 and then Wake going on a 12-0 run what was the cause of that and he said he couldn't remember every detail and had no answer. That was the turning point in the game how can he not remember or have an answer for that he really don't know.
Then on the same subject he said they changed their defense and went to zone and said they were prepared for it, how can you be prepared for it and not do anything about it.
He really is lost and in over his head, I think the world of him and he is everything that is the Carolina Way but he just isn't the guy.
The free throw quote was absolutely crazy! He even paused for a few seconds! He really has no clue

eta: i can’t watch his pressers anymore after losses…seriously, i learn more after wins than losses with him…which, if you think about, is exactly the opposite we’ve all been taught haha.
40 of wake's 55 shots were NOT 3's while half of UNC's shots were from deep. Carolina had 6 more fouls called against them. Looks pretty obvious that one team was far more aggressive in attacking the basket. I'm just grateful wake could not hit the side of a barn from deep or it would have been a blow-out.
If you shoot jump shots and the other team attacks the basket you are going to get less free throws everytime. It really comical at this point.
