It presumably increases the defensive attention he draws. Which could help another player get free.
I think it's dangerous to play trend game statistics with Cadeau. One 2/2 3PT shooting game is going to massively skew Cadeau's "last 5 games" trend. He could literally not make a single 3 in the other 4 games and he can be like 2/3 or 2/5 over a 5 game stretch. He doesn't attempt enough 3s consistently for the trends to mean all that much IMO.
In totality, he hasn't been good enough. He's had 12 games this season where he's made 0 3s. He's had 5 games where he's made multiple 3s.
This team couldn't be the best version of itself if Cadeau had that many 0 made 3PTer games.
This isn't the "last 5 games." This is the last 10 games. That's more than a month's worth of games.
True enough. But is he unguarded because he gets open or because they leave him open? For now, I think it's more of the latter. But if/when it becomes the former - which is more the case for Seth - then that helps our other players.
I agree. The only one chased is RJ. We need at least two on the court preferably three that need to be pulling their defender and creating space. Lord knows we need a big that has to be double teamed.
After today, I don’t think he will be back. No way is he the answer at the helm.
