I forgot today was Valentine's Day . . . and the wife isn't real happy over that fact.

I offered to give her a back rub . . . but, she's not having any of that. Sheesh . . . you'da thought 25 years of marriage woulda bought me a little leeway . . .
 
No way, Billy. The longer you've been married, the lesser the chance of them giving you a break. Just last week, took the wife of 39 years on a cruise. At her insistence, we agreed no presents for today. So she asks today where her Valentines Day present was and I remind her of the no presents agreement. Her response..."didn't you know I wasn't serious?"

Funny how they have such short memories, is it not . . . ?

39 years is a long time . . . congrats on the longevity of your marriage.
