two points:
1) NBA drafts on potential. A not-ready-yet guy is often what they're looking for, just like buying an under-performing stock before the price skyrockets.
2) The kind of money thrown at these kids is hard for anybody to pass up.
justin might return for his senior year if:
1) he and his family are very comfortable financially.
2) the fun he's having at unc greatly exceeds the stresses and hassles of a big time athlete
(note: chances of him returning are higher if he has a girlfriend on campus. anybody heard anything?)

Hope he returns, but want him to do what is best for him. I selfishly want him to return. Go Heels!!
I read that too. One went so far as to say he's the same player now as he was as a freshman. I think that is too harsh and is untrue. But nobody can deny he was very inconsistent this year, and there were times he just couldn't throw it in the ocean from 3. Not assertive or aggressive enough on defense sometimes, too. But sure can run, and finish on primary and secondary break, either scoring or passing.
Bu how is what he showed over all this year something an NBA team is willing to take a chance on now? I think he's a smart kid. And if he is half as smart as I think he is, he'll listen to the right people in the NBA, and Roy, and come back.
Who knows? Maybe he can have a big, breakout year. There will be a lot of Brice / Marcus shots to spread around to others.
Justin is not listed in mock drafts. It seems mighty risky for him to leave. Bryce is listed at #30 on one mock and #18 on another , sure seems low.
some nba team is going to get a steal with brice johnson. he's going to be an excellent pro player, it wouldn't surprise me if he eventually made all-star.
