Make a case for how we definitely will be better next year. How Surratt finally will be revealed as Michael Vick Part 2 (minus the dog fighting). How Kap next year will finally blossom into a 1st rate game planner and play caller, while also being a great OL coach. How our DL will be the best we've had in years. How this recruiting class will turn out to be much better than anybody now thinks it will be.
I plead with the pro-Fedora people to give me hope

Speaking about the recruiting aspect if “big time” recruits can’t see that there is plenty of playing time here and not much competition to beat out then it must be something else that keeps them away (coaching for example)
At this point, there’s too much damage/blood under the band aid. You gotta rip it off now rather than later to get a head start in the sure fire recovery that will be needed to rebuild this program into a respectable p5 football member. Regardless of who our next coach is, it’ll be a few years before we see signs of sustainable improvement and that’s on Larry Fedora (he doesn’t give a shit). We’ve been terrible on the recruiting trail and it’s bearing fruit now and will continue to do so until we get a bigger name who can recruit and build some excitement.
with hurricane conditions so bad the game could have been cancelled, fedora sprinkled some water on the ball in practice and decided that was ample preparation for a pass-oriented game plan. this told us two things: a) fedora doesn't listen to assistants who might question whether hurricane winds and a muddy field would hinder passing, and b) fedora is slightly stupid. that's the day i lost hope for fedora.
