I think that it is legit to discuss what happened that led to the kid being dismissed from UNC (from the school itself, not the team). I think it is better to discuss the truth and considering there is no official UNC report nor is one coming that explains this, a lot of worse things could be assumed.I would MUCH prefer folks know that it was a academic violation of some sort that was known about for most of the off season than to think it may have been something much worse, for example a JameOn Curry like situation or a PJ level of NCAA violation (thou rules now days would consider what PJ and LMac did as NIL and perfectly fine).
I just really like truth and I like responsibility and no matter where High ends up I hope he has learned from this and goes on to take his opportunities in life more seriously. As in the Christian faith, admit your sins, ask for forgiveness from the Savior, and do things per his teachings moving forward. I do hope High comes back to UNC, we all make mistakes, we deserve forgiveness if we sincerely ask for it and do not repeat the action but there still may be a penalty you have to pay.
