I thought she didn't like the guy

Haha. Hillary's hypocrisy is on some next level shit. And it almost sounds like she's getting wet talking about Putin.

This has really burned me too, and maybe should be in the hypocrisy thread, but this notion that Trump "likes" Putin because he said Putin is a better leader than Obama.

There are two scenarios for this belief:

1. Those who believe this do not know the definition of a "leader."
2. They just want to use every angle to smear this election.

We can (hopefully) all acknowledge that Coach K is a great leader. Nick Saban is a great leader. Bill Belichick is a great leader. That, in NO way, indicates that we like them.

Or that any one of them should be president of the country based on those leadership capabilities.

This was actually a point that Trump made in the last debate that I agreed with. "We can't be friends with Russia?" Or, something like that. I seem to recall he made some kind of statement like that, and I thought "Now, that's a good point. We SHOULD be able to be 'friends' with Russia." And, when politicians get to slandering each other for trying to be cordial with foreign diplomats, it always seems so juvenile. The media spends it's days trying to feed a fear of these places into our culture, when they're all just people like us. Then, whenever a person is trying to be elected, they have to pander, or cater, to that fear or they're perceived as a traitor.

Missed the point. Refer back to point #1 about knowing the definition of a leader. Those qualities apply regardless of the profession.
