I think the Ready To Die album cover is more iconic and recognizable.
Life After Death was the first album I ever purchased (or had help b/c I wasn't 16 yet). I knew these songs before I ever knew Juicy.
This coming from the guy who chose ...and justice for all as an iconic Metallica cover. It's a great album, but at best it would be their 4th iconic behind the black album, master of puppets and kill 'em all.I think the Ready To Die album cover is more iconic and recognizable.
Did you get the actual vinyl?
Yeah, age certainly plays a part in all of this. Hell, I think Asia and Men At Work have iconic album covers.

You're absolutely wrong on that. There's no other way to say it. And Justice For All is clearly - without a doubt - the most recognizable album cover to the masses. There is no debate here.

As my poast shows, I think And Justice For All is clearly the more iconic and recognizable cover.
There you go @gunslingerdick .I've never seen the Justice For All cover before.
Yes, but the idea was to post one that a lot of people would know even if they were just a casual listener. Master of Puppets is a great example.@tarheel0910 can correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression a band and/or artist could have more than one iconic cover.

I'm not even really a Metallica fan. The Master of Puppets album cover was the first (of any band) that came to my mind when I saw the thread title. I've never seen the Justice For All cover before.
So this isn't really an overall iconic cover, but if you know anything about Staind's history, you'll know why it would be considered their most iconic cover.
