who is confident he can produce big numbers, All conference and perhaps All American and even Heisman race numbers, where would you rather sign:

A) a school whose HC is obsessed with running the QB, more than any RB

B) a school with an offense that uses RBs to carry the ball, often, and catch passes, and that rarely wants the QB to run

If you choose A, you probably still cannot grasp why Bryce Love is at Stanford rather than wasting his time playing for Fedora.

it's why not getting zamir white wasn't that big a deal to me...the backs they have now fulfill this offense because when he had a legit back in hood and a great all-purpose guy in logan, they weren't used enough...i get your point, though.

i really like watching brown run...he does not stop moving his legs.

i'm going to layoff larry the rest of the year...he isn't going to adjust anything, too many injuries, and the team hasn't quit...i just want him to play all the kids and get them reps.

Brown and Carter are both sound RBs. But we need an RB at least their equal who weighs at least 230 - and we need Fedora to use all 3 of them.

Bama runs their QB more than any rb last yr, and this yr.

Clemson's lead carrier is their QB.

Notre's qb is their leading rusher too.

Gio had tons of touches, ground and air.

In 2015 Hood had tons of touches, and was tied for 16th nationally for TD

Dumbest thread of the year so far. And that's really saying something.

Outside of the OL, I think Fed has done a pretty good job recruiting on the offensive side of the ball. Our WR, RB and QBs have , for the most part, been more than serviceable. This isn't basketball. You don't need a top 10 recruit at each position to compete. Does it help? Absolutely. Is it absolutely necessary to compete? No.

i'm beginning to wonder about WR. A Walk-on was a starter last yr, and a different walk-on was a starter this yr. Their are several guys in their third yr that don't seem to be catching fire.

Injuries have played a role in that though. Mack Hollins was a walk on at first. How did that work out?

Beginning to wonder? I was telling everyone who would listen last year that we were in for a world of hurt at WR for 2017. And that was even with a healthy Proehl.

Having Switz, Mack and Bug was great last year but really hurt the development of other receivers (except Proehl). We are paying for that now. Hope we aren't so Sr. laden moving forward - at any position.

We had just about the best QB in the country in Trubisky last year, so I think I have to disagree that the backs were underused. Hood and Logan together combined to average 22 carries per game, and Hood had double digit carries in every game. Our passing game was fantastic until Hollins got hurt.
