You're conflating Scotland and Ireland.

But yes, my surname is uber Scottish and I agree that kilts are ghey and bagpipes can be ear-splitting.

First off, any day that is set aside for the purpose of drinking, I'm all for it. It's certainly much better that joke of a holiday they call Valentine's Day.

That said, I'm still waiting for Powhatan Indian Day. Not holding my breath though.

Only winners get to declare holidays, historically speaking. The Injuns probably should've invented firepower.

Wow the irish have a holiday, as do the muslims, blacks, christians, jews, devil worshippers, drinkers, ....but nothing for the indians!
I was being facetious (kinda).

And the Indians have Thanksgiving!!! Haha.

On a random sidenote, it's kinda funny that so many actual Indians (@prlyles' Indians) have immigrated to this country, that unless you're in the NW like Idaho or Montana, when people say "Indians" now, you usually have to clarify if they're talking about Native Americans or natives of India. Just a random THN11 musing for y'all.

I have Scottish ancestry and I'm offended by these comments. I miss the days where I could wear my kilt and carry my bagpipes around w out being judged.

Have you guys never heard of Native American Day? It's all the rage in CA and South Dakota.

Never. It has been suppressed by the #FakeMedia.

And Thanksgiving is an awesome holiday -- huge fan, but the teaching in this country for its history is a joke. And FWIW -- I'm part Irish and English, too. I'm just saying if certain groups can play the victim card b/c of how their ancestors were treated -- why can't I? I mean, the logic seems to make sense, to me anyway.
