Jay Bilas going 94 feet with .... Jay Bilas?

Anyone else find this weird?

I had recorded the game and blew by it. Maybe I should have stopped and listened to it. I like Bilas but thought that was odd.

It was odd.

And then there was a moment in the second half when Bilas acknowledged that Isaiah hadn't been available, and his partner needled him about interviewing himself because nobody else would do it. Of course then Bilas walked it back and said it was because that's what the fans wanted.

I think he said all of the Heels were unavailable to do the interview so he did it himself as they do it every game.

Bilas is okay...but his "94 feet" interview struck me as a bit weird/odd as montana and juleZ said..

He's one of my favorite d00kies, but in the end, he is a d00kie. They're all at least a little strange. It's called the Durham Taint.

I give him props for "filling in", but it seemed a lot longer than normal. I didn't time it so there you go, I may well be wrong. The good natured jibing from his broadcast partner in the game made it worth while. Bilas, though a dookie, is one of the better of that ilk, and can be humorous at times.

I thought it was ok, but he seemed to be caught off guard by some of the questions. I liked the segment where the girl was asking the players a question. Theo was funny in that segment.

I thought it was pretty funny myself. Liked it a whole lot better than him walking with Gottfried before the State game.
