Berry and Paige both had terrible games. Meeks has had a terrible handful of games. If these guys ever all just play decent we can beat anyone. We can't win consistently with guys playing that poorly though.
I'm in no way trying to blow sunshine up everyone's tail pipe here, but if there's anything remotely consoling about this game, it was that those three starters (Berry, Paige, and Meeks) were complete no-shows, and we were still one Roy Botch away from still winning the damn thing.
Meeks definitely should have had a better game because Puke had nobody to defend him. I wish Berry and Paige played better, but they atleast they had some okay players defending them. Allen is 6'5 and physical and the other guards are the same. No excuse for Meeks! also no excuse for Roy tonight.

Sorry hark, we were one shot from still looking like a bunch of morons who barely beat an inferior dook team. This is our nature now.
How were we "one Roy botch away" from winning the game? We're we gaurenteed to score if Roy called a timeout? How about if we went 2 for 10000 from three? We would have won, right?

Be realistic. It isn't breaking news that we can't shoot and that Kennedy was irrelevant to the game. Those have been patterns. We ignored Brice. That's why we lost. He should have gone for 40/20 and have a game for the ages, but it got taken away from him by his own team.

Do you dispute that the chance of us scoring would have at least been better if we had called a TO and at least calmed down? just asking.
Sjung - I for some reason couldn't bring myself to watch a minute of the game. Or even check the score until the end. Well, I checked it once and we were up about 8 at the 12 minutes left timeout.
Those stats about Brice are INSANE! WTF is Roy, and are our guards - thinking? Brice wasn't being doubled by in-thier-prime Shaq and Ewing, was he? How can you not get him the ball? or even Hicks / Meeks? Its almost as we set out to find a way to lose this game. Glad I didn't watch it. At least maybe I can sleep.
Meeks doesn't play hard enough, it is that simple. He should have been busting his tail to get position down low and on the boards with his size advantage. Instead he loafed around the court.
Sadly that was not Meeks loafing, that was Meeks hustling at his best. He's just slow with no leaping ability. It's Paige it's really let this team down. He doesn't show for the big games nor has the all season. His play has regressed
