Discussing premium information on the free board is a no no. Perhaps the snitchers on this site can fill you in on how it works.
That's great, but some are disagreeing with you on this thread. Is it a show being put on?

As far as I'm concerned, a silent verbal isn't a commitment. If d00k was/is his dream school, he would be foolish to not take the time and reconsider his position. I don't want him here if he doesn't want to be here 100%. If he were my son, I would advise him to step back, review all his options, and then make a decision. It's a life changing decision so he has every right to take all the time he needs to make it.
FWIW, I think Baker's decision will have significant impact on Moore's. IOW, I think he's UNC bound. But if he's not, I harbor no ill will towards him at all.

A lot of recruits aren’t 100% sure. That’s why they take different visits and decide. Jason Williams and Bobby Hurley grew up UNC fans and wanted to come here....but we went other directions. Harrison Barnes was a strong Duke lean for a while and some say he gave a silent verbal to them.

Exactly. This isn't rocket science. Kid got the offer he wanted and he put off his commitment to us so he could potentially play for them, despite the fact we put in so much time on him. His "top 10" was just a scapegoat to add Dook to his list.
Why everyone tries so hard to avoid the elephant in the room is beyond me. Just call it what it was. Kid wanted to be a Dookie and almost got his wish. Only now it looks like Baker jumped on the offer first.
My only issue is that this entire situation could have been reversed had we not wasted 2 years on another closet Dookie like we have in the past. Just boggles my mind why Roy loves trying so hard to flip those kids who want to be in Durm so bad.
"traitor" may be inaccurate, but he certainly doesn't have much interest in loyalty if he's going to flip after 2 years of recruitimg for a coach who merely offered him just to keep him away from a school that ACTUALLY wants him.

I think the Heels still have a great chance to get him, especially with Baker going to Duke.
I don't think anyone is denying that all of this is about Duke, and the kid would likely prefer to go there. But recruiting someone for a period of time should not mean loyalty is owed. If Iowa had recruited Marcus Paige for two years and then we offered and he came here, I wouldn't think of him negatively. He is just doing what's right for him.
And I'd be willing to bet that they did. We got involved with Brooks late and "stole" him from Auburn. This happens to lesser basketball powers all the time. As I said before, at least Moore had the cajones to tell Roy to his face, most kids today would have called or texted. If he comes to UNC, it will be because he really wanted to. That's as it should be.

Baker and Moore can co-exist on the same team....both playing between the 3 and the 4 spot
It's been spun it as "weighing all his options" or "expanding his recruitment". He's done neither. There's only one real option, that "Top 10" is a damn smoke screen. Funny part is now that school already has its SF. Though I'm sure K would take both.
My issue isn't that Dook is trying to steal him away. Especially because we've done that before. it's that Roy put all the eggs in one basket, and once again it looks like it's coming back to bite.
I've been vocal about not waiting to wait around for him to get his act together. Still a bunch of SF prospects out there who are very good. Hell, why wait for a guy who would've flipped for a school that didn't really want him more than to keep him from the school that does want him? Get em while the gettings good. Though I doubt Roy will unfortunately.
You already has cam Reddish and will likely get at least 1 of Zion or Barrett. Not to mention Tucker or Trent Jr could be back for their second year. Regardless, someone's going to the bench. Of this list, I bet Moore would be the odd man out.
Moore is 2019....Reddish is prob OAD and if barrett OAD as well....dont see Trent back for a junior year, and if so, he'd be the primary 2g by then prob

I don't think it will take much longer for Moore to commit now that Baker has committed. He's seen that the LOM has no loyalty to him and accepted another SF at his spot right after offering him a scholarship. That, and the fact that Roy has prioritized him for a long time, should tell him which coach really wants him. So knowing that, if he still picks d00k, it's because he really want to go there. If so, he should.

Look everyone outside of the lemming "fans" or should I say cult members at dook knows that Vader is a liar and a fraud and phony. He has always recruited over players and led them on with his BS. It is THE reason that his program has far more transfers from that hell hole than virtually all other programs. Joey committing when he did screwed up Ks want to cloud the Moore decision to Roy up. I think Joey saw that Roy was not going to offer and he sure wasn't going to wait around and see if Moore would jump at that duke offer so Joey said I take it. Roy was, I think still is dead set on wanting Moore over any other wing in this class, strong note the lack of other 2019 wing offers since late Night, that should tell ya what is going on at this point.
I am telling ya right now by Roy not sending out any more 2019 wing offers is proof Roy was not upset with this kid. If he were he would have with drawn the offer that day and likely offered Joey or another 2019 wing before the sun set.

Parker was playing power forward for Dook. No way Baker or Moore can play power forward.
