Anyone know anything about the rumors flying around? I noticed it started on (tos) penn state msg boards back before Thanksgiving! Now it seems like MooU msg boards are confident he will leave! I know they’re idiots lol but just wanted to see if anybody had any info!

Not sure why he would leave. I guess because he thinks he has a better chance to win at another school. He has an easier path to a conference championship in the coastal. I'm not saying we will win, but it should be easier to get a championship here than any other conference. Other than winning there's no reason to leave unless there is a locker room issue.

Yea State fans are thinking he's going to transfer and play there like his dad. He might feel he's better off with an established QB. He's really close with Dre', hopefully he'll stay and improve his draft stock even more.

If he's going to leave, he'd be a damned fool to go to Moo if a major Blue Blood wants him.

Rumors are him going to UGA, with some meddling going on by Kirby Smart?

Regardless, Dre is his uncle, so I'm not thinking he's gonna leave.
Yeah, I’ve heard UGA too..he just signed a deal with old spice. I’m sure he will be making quite a bit off that! That’s gotta help with him staying and like you said, with Bly being his uncle, I don’t see him leaving

Plus UGA’s offense is trash for the position he plays(slot). It’s an old school pro style offense that likes to run, run, run! Their qb’s are mediocre at best!

Depends on the money. Hope he stays
Yes, but how much does he want to win a conference championship and have a good shot at the playoffs? What are the odds that Mack the Master Recruiter can become Mack Master of Xs and Os? What are the odds that suddenly Searels becomes a top of the line OL coach? What are the odds that suddenly the position coaches on D turn into Masters of Teaching Fundamentals?

Those are the kind of questions that top players at UNC are going to be asking more and more in this age of NIL and Transfer Portal with no sitting out.

If he's smart, he will realize he doesn't need to have master coaches in the ACC coastal division. He just needs the coaches to be somewhat average and enough talent to overcome the coaching. We might actually have the talent now. No team in the country has an easier path to a confrence title game than us. And he would be the feature player on that team. If the rumors are true, it sounds like a potentional locker room issue or this could be just a bunch of message board talk. Either way, I have no faith in this staff and that might be how he feels too.

UVa and the turkeys should be a dumpster fire next year.

That highlighted sentence is true. But, I say the 2021 team should have won the Coastal. Pitt was better coached but did not have nearly as much talent.

If Mack has lost faith in this staff, he needs to shake it up. As a staff, it has overseen under achievement.

Downs transferring would be just plain stupid.
That depends. Does he he think that Searels can produce a good enough OL for the new QB to have time to pass to him? How badly does he want to play in a CCG? How much faith does he have that Mack and this staff can win the Coastal in 2022? How much would he like to have a good shot at playing in the playoff? Does he think Mack and his staff have any shot at winning the ACC in 2022? Is he confident that the ACC champ in 2022 will have a better shot at getting into the playoff than Pitt did in 2021?

In all seriousness, if he's good enough to break that record, he'll be in the draft before he gets the chance to break it.
