Julius Peppers is eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame next year
Julius Peppers retired from the NFL in 2019. He was drafted by the Panthers with the No. 2 overall pick in 2002 and also went on to play for the Bears and Packers. Peppers finished his career with 159.5 sacks, the fourth most in NFL history. Legendary WRAL sports figure Bob Holliday has argued that Peppers is the best North Carolina athlete ever.
